Winter weather persisted at Batavia Downs on Thursday afternoon with snow, wind, and frigid conditions. A horse aptly named Crazy Fool dominated the featured $10,000 Class A-AA trot, demonstrating impressive racing tactics throughout.

Kyle Cummings quickly repositioned Crazy Fool to reclaim control at the quarter pole in :30.3. By the halfway mark (1:02), the field had separated into two distinct groups. Entering the final stretch, Crazy Fool possessed a 1½-length advantage and crossed the wire in 2:00.2, paying $12.48 to win.

Cummings both drives and owns the 6-year-old, partnering with Matthew Miller. Trainer Tammy Cummings conditions the horse.
